Pepe Le Pew

Pepe is a sweet, affectionate boy with a gentle soul. He first appeared at his current caretaker's house, shy and wary, keeping his distance. After being trapped for neutering two months ago, he responded wonderfully to human gentleness and kindness. Pepe isn’t too keen on being picked up and held for long, but he never uses his claws or gets feisty when handled. He absolutely loves gentle petting, neck and chin scratches, and he even rolls on his back for gentle belly rubs. Pepe is quite affectionate and gentle, making him a delightful companion. While it’s unclear how he would interact with another cat or a dog, he could likely adapt well in a calm, non-aggressive environment. He has been very sweet with both his caretaker and the volunteers who help feed him. Currently, Pepe is an outdoor cat but shows a desire to come inside. He has spent some time indoors at the caretaker’s house and did just fine. He would likely be happiest as an indoor/outdoor cat. One of Pepe's cutest traits is his little "peep" of a meow, and he purrs softly while making air biscuits. Pepe is ready to find a forever home where he can continue to thrive with love and care.
