"This sweet boy was previously neutered and chipped, named "Pennywise" 4yr, 7mo old. Clinic staff loved on him all day.
Clinic obtained the chip info and called the guy who said he would come immediately to pick him up from clinic as he'd been missing a yr. The guy used to live on the street where Pennywise was trapped, but moved about a year and half ago. But after the initial call he didn't return calls to clinic and did not come to pick up.
The homeowner who is trapping on that street to curb the cat population also called the registered owner this afternoon to see whats up.
Previous owner said that he had only had the cat for 2 weeks when the cat ran away and he is not interested in having him back.
Neighbors had mentioned to the homeowner who is trapping that they thought the cat had been abandoned and I guess they were right because the cat didn't run away too far if he was still on the same street a yr and a half later.
Pennywise is still living on the street where the guy had lived so who's the one who ran away?
The trapper said she would network with friends to see if anyone is looking for a sweet cat. And if anyone knows someone looking for a nice gentleman cat we think he would like a nice home."
