My Story

*****NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens** July 3rd, 2024 Please read Penny's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would be a good fit to your family then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch. Penny and her 2 littermates Jude and Rigby were born May 9th to Lucy an abandonned pregnant cat that came in to our rescue the week before. She is now ready for adoption. She has been flea treated, dewormed twice, received her 1st FVCRP vaccine and microchip. Her 2nd FVCRP vaccine then rabies are the responsibility of her new owner and must be completed prior to her spay by AVA at 4 - 5 months which is included in her $275 adoption fee. Penny is the shyest of the litter, she loves to tell you stories. She loves to play and cuddle with her littermates so it would be nice if she could find a home with one of them if not she MUST go to a home with another young cat or kitten to keep her company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. Little kittens are not appropriate for children under the age of 6. She is in a foster home in Ancaster.
