Penny

Penny is a special girl. Smart and curious, she wants to explore new places and play with new toys. She came to Cameron Animal Hospital after being abandoned at a local feral cat colony. Although she was malnourished and dirty when she arrived, she is now thriving, and her beautiful coat is testament to how well she is doing. Penny is FeLV/FIV negative. She has received her full course of FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, and her rabies vaccine. She has been fecal tested and dewormed; and has also been spayed and mcirochiped. Shortly after she arrived Penny began having focal seizuress- uncontrollable movement/pain in her tail. She has since started on medication, which she eats easily in her food, and which completely controls the problem. She is otherwise healthy. Penny is active and curious. She loves people, and loves to play with different interactive toys- wand toys, small stuffed toys to throw and chase, etc. Because she sometimes plays roughly, we don't recommend a family with a child less than 6 years old. Although Penny loves people, she doesn't think the same of other 4-legged animals- she would rather not spend any time around cats or dogs, and would be happier as an only pet. Penny likes to be pet and cuddled, but on her terms- and she has very definite opinions. This smart girl can't wait for a home of her own, where she can play and explore to her heart's content.
