Penelope

Hi, my name is Penelope, but my foster dad calls me Penny. He says I am a pretty Penny, and always asks me for a Penny for my thoughts. He is a funny guy. Even though my name is Penny, I really look more like a shiny nickel. My all-gray short fur shimmers silver and is soft and beautiful. That is why the rescue thinks I have Russian Blue in me. I am almost 2 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, de-wormed, and Feline Leuk and Fiv tested negative. I am also a skilled jumper, and I make good eye contact. I'm nocturnal. 3am is a good playtime for me, as are afternoons. Mornings are for zoomies and play also. I nap afternoons. When you get up in the morning, I will rub your legs and help you make coffee. I will tell you all about my night. I respect boundaries when they are respectfully communicated to me. I need spaces to call my own as well. I keep a clean litter box. I will be grateful if you help me keep it so. If I'm not confident with my environment I will be a cave dweller and hide, but if I like where I am I will be a tree dweller and find high places to sit and relax where everyone can see me. I have the cutest little meow, and I am as sweet as honey.
