Pearl Age: 2 years Sex: Female Was Pearl a rock climber in a past life? A roofer? Maybe a pilot. One thing is clear about Pearl & that is that she loves to be up high. It only took one step outside the kennel in her foster home & she was already curiously looking up, up, up! Pearl came to us from an overcrowded shelter with her sister Precious. They travelled many miles in separate kennels on a bus with dozens of other cats. All were at risk of euthanasia for lack of space. We could say they are the lucky ones for getting out of there & that is true, but also, whoever adopts one of these beauties is going to feel like the luckiest one of all. When she is not sleeping high on a shelf or claiming the top tier of the scratching post, Pearl wants to snuggle up close to her people & will often hog your pillow. She has quite a fascination with string toys, cardboard boxes & loves to spend time watching the squirrels & birds from the window seat. She has the softest fur & the softest little meow to match. Clearly she was born to melt hearts. She does an excellent job of grooming herself & you know, she will probably attempt to groom you too (your hair!).
