Patsy

Sweet Patsy was surrendered to a shelter by her original owner after she was diagnosed with thyroid disease. She was severely emaciated at the time and refusing to eat. Her fur was thin and coarse and she had very little energy. Freckles Foundation knew that the shelter was not conducive to the healing she needed so we took her into our care and she was placed in a foster home. Once in our care, we got her on a diet that she liked and medicine to help control her thyroid issues. She is now a happy, much healthier cat, and is ready to find her fur-ever home. Patsy is very affectionate and loving. She would do best in a quiet home with someone to give her lots of attention. Patsy's condition is treated daily with an easy-to-administer topical ointment. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue will assist her adopter in paying for the medication for the duration of Patsy's life. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.
