My Story

*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email [email protected]. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. Introducing Patience! This tiny lady was transferred from another shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia. After spending some time in a foster home decompressing, she has spent time in the shelter where a consistent group of volunteers has had the privilege of watching her learn to trust people. Patience is now ready to find her forever home. Patience is a tiny girl who is looking for a home where she can be a snuggle bug. She loves to be pet and soaks up the attention when volunteers sit with her. Patience knows what she likes and is learning to communicate when she is done being pet. She is not a fan of wet food, neither pate or shreds draw her attention. Occasionally she does like lickable treats or a bowl of broth along with her dry food. Patience may take some time to warm up to a new person, but once she knows you can be trusted she will make sure she is available for pets and attention. If you are looking for a cat companion to snuggle with while you watch a movie, work from home or read a book, Patience might be just the cat for you! Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat.
