Pat! Requires an Experienced Home!

Purrlease read Pat's bio very carefully. We love our Pat and want her to find an ameowzing home that will meet her needs! "My name is Dalton Ante and I am an 11-year-old volunteer with Alaska Humane Society. Since I started volunteering at the shelter, I have made so many great friends with the volunteers and cats. My goal today is to tell you about a very special cat, Pat. Pat is our most unique personality at the shelter, but despite her quirks I really love her. We don't exactly know how old Pat is because she came to AHS as a stray in 2018. Pat loves to sit on a certain shelf at the shelter and every time I visit, she is my first stop. Pat definitely knows her name and she loves it when you talk to her in a soft voice, she loves conversation. Pat also really loves scratches on her ears and chin with a wooden back scratcher. Where things get hard is Pat has a history of biting and scratching. I can honestly say that Pat has never bitten or scratched me, but I am VERY careful of her and I pay close attention to her ears. Pat does not have the ability to talk like you and me, but she can tell us how she feels with her ears and body language. We don't know Pat's history, but it's my belief that she has gone through something hard to make her feel like people cannot be trusted. The shelter is a great place, but many cats like Pat struggle with being around each other all of the time. It's truly my feeling that Pat needs a home where she can be the only cat. I imagine Pat loving a sunny window and a patient owner willing to invest the time in gaining Pat's trust. I would love to give Pat a home at my house, but unfortunately I live with someone that is highly allergic to cats, so I need your help.
