OTTO My name is Otto because that is how the kind people at United Paws came to know me. I was hit by a car (get it, auto!) and left on the side of the road until a nice person took me in to the vet. I was in pretty bad shape and couldn't walk, so that is how I ended up in the foster program with United Paws. I couldn't use my back legs for a long time, in fact all hope had been lost when all of a sudden one day I began to walk! I get around just fine now, although I am a bit wobbly, but I can keep up with all my foster brothers and sisters. There is one thing though, I am a little wary of strangers and it takes me a while to feel comfortable. I need a quiet one-on-one relationship with someone who will cherish me for the nice guy that I am. I am also a little scared of other animals but once I get used to them I want to be friends.
