Ollie

Ollie returned to our rescue as a sad story of an adoption that didn’t work out. Little is known about what his life might have been like before except that we are told he was thrown outdoors because he wasn’t using his litterbox appropriately. His new foster is delighted to report that Ollie has NOT ONCE gone outside the litterbox in their home, so we’re not sure if that info was even accurate. Ollie will need careful diet monitoring and exercise to control and maintain his handsome figure. He weighed 22 lbs when he came to our rescue and he is down to 20 lbs. Ollie was a nervous guy at first, but after a few weeks he revealed his true personality as an absolute lovebug! Ollie LOVES attention from his people. He will lay on your lap for hours if you let him and he loves to be petted and brushed. He isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up, but we think he might be uncomfortable due to his size and nervousness. He has come a long way since we got him and we hope he can find a loving new family who will treat him with care and respect. Ollie tolerates other cats as long as they respect his boundaries. He growls when his foster’s cats come close but otherwise doesn’t mind them one bit. He has no problem sharing a litter box or being in the same shared household as multiple cats (as long as they mind their manners with him). We don’t know how he is with dogs.
