Nyx

Nyx came to us when her young owner was kicked out of her mom's house. Her mom threatened to put the cat outside and she couldn't have her where she was living so she called and asked us for help. Nyx can have a hard time in new situations. She's one of those kitties that's just very intense. She will be hissy and strike out but give her a few days to adjust and she is sweet and loving. We think she was born in April or May so is roughly 10 months old. She is currently in a foster home instead of the Happy Cat Cafe as it is a less stressful environment for her. Her foster mom has provided the following updated information: Nyx is a beautiful tuxedo kitty who is sweet and sassy. She lives life on her own terms. She likes to be picked up and held and sit on your lap when she chooses. She loves moist food and bites of chicken and turkey. She loves looking at bunnies, birds, and bugs on the screened porch. She is definitly a one- person cat and does not want to share love with any children and animals. She loves playing with rolled up aluminum foil and chasing it. She would be loving and loyal with a very patient and kind adult. She hides for loud noises so she likes her privacy. Occasionally she gives her foster mom quiet little purrs, and kitty kisses.
