My Story

Meet Nutmeg! Nutmeg is a sweet cat who has been a nurturing mama to her 6 kittens. She is now ready to find a home of her own and get a taste of the good life. She loves food (a lot), attention from her humans, and adores cozying up to some catnip for playtime. Overall, she is patient with being handled, and loves to give little head bumps to her favorite humans. She greets her foster at the door every day after work and when her foster wakes up, comes over for some attention. She has had no misses with the litterbox, and was confident enough to quickly have the run of her foster home. Her food motivation makes her easy to get into a carrier and would make her a good candidate for learning tricks. Now that her kittens are grown up, she's been starting to show off her kitten side as well. She is full of energy, and will need a home that can give her a good amount of playtime, as she can be rowdy if she's cooped up for too long. That said, she's a joy to play with - you will get hours of entertainment watching her stalk and pounce on a ribbon on a stick! Because she likes to play with hands and can get overeager when treats aren't dropped quickly enough for her liking, she is not recommended for a house with young children, but is good with kids otherwise. She was great with the dog in her last foster home, and could likely be a friend to a cat-savvy dog. Interested in this sweet cat?
