Nora is a gentle girl about 4 years old. She came to Helping Paws in May 2023 when her owner suddenly passed away. He had been her whole world, and she took a while to come out of her shell. In her foster home, she has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate cat. Nora isn't a fan of being picked up, but she loves to snuggle up to her foster parents on the couch and is a quiet sleeping companion. She loves pets and scratches! She seldom meows--her communications are mostly quiet chirps and mrrs--except when she gets ahold of one of her favorite toys. Then she wants to tell you all about it! Nora loves watching the world from the window and often spends part of the day sleeping on her cat bed on her foster mom's computer desk. She would do best in a fairly quiet home, most likely as the only pet. Older, respectful children would likely be OK.
