This charismatic goofball was scheduled for euthanasia an HOUR before we rescued him from a kill shelter. He had no one but had so much love still. At the time, he had a severe kitty cold that disabled him from walking/standing well. Nolan had determination to live! Little by little, he gained mobility, and his cold cleared. He sadly suffered permanent damage from his infection and has a slight limp in his hind legs. BUT believe us, this does not faze Nolan one bit! He gladly glides around, sometimes in a slinky like motion with his back legs. We think he thinks he's skating! And what a trooper he is, because he even manages to gently maneuver into the litter box. So mannerly! Nolan's shortcomings are not at all difficult to manage or a true handicap. He manages like any other cat, just no jumping onto tables or counters...but is that such a bad thing? This boy loves to do his version of zoomies (skating) around the room with the other kitties. Toys? He LOVES them! He's a chill, affectionate sweetheart who is just an uber goober! We just can't help but love his prominent romanesque nose, so handsome. AND what a ham he is for photos!
