Mama Nola! Nola is the proud Mama of four healthy babies who, along with her, were rescued from the streets only days after their birth. The feeder knew little about this Mama Cat whod appeared out of nowhere and promptly given birth. With no background info, we were prepared for a possible trapping challenge. We neednt have worried: when we arrived Nola practically leapt into our arms, starved for petties and love. The heartbreaking conclusion was that this sweet young girl was NOT feral; shed been raised around people and likely dumped. Nola instantly settled into her foster home and proved an exemplary Mom. Babies were always chubby and spotless, and she adored interacting with her foster family. Petite and polite, shed approach and solicit attention with loud purrs, insistent head butts/face rubs, happy tummy rolls, and air biscuits. Judging by her size, temperament, and the average onset of a kittys first heat cycle, we estimate Nola to be ~10 to 12 months old - really just a baby herself. Despite a rough beginning, her future is bright - shes going to be a loyal, loving companion to some lucky family. Our dream scenario? For Nola to be adopted with her one remaining kitten, a delightfully mischievous orange tabby boy named Obie. In search of that lap-warming love match? Nola will not disappoint!
