Niya

Meet Niya! This sweet and regal girl was one of 6 kittens found outside with horrible conjunctivitis and upper respiratory infections when they were around 8 weeks old. After weeks of care Niya and her siblings fully recovered and all but her and her sister Natty were adopted to loving homes. Unfortunately before this girl could find a home of her own, both Natty and Niya became sick once again and tested positive for FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis. FIP is often fatal, but after spending months with a dedicated medical foster and receiving daily injections, both girls persevered and are doing better than ever. They no longer need any medications and spend their days rolling around in catnip with their feline friends. Niya might be a little over a year old now, but she's a total kitten at heart! When she's not zooming around the room with her best friends Starr and Tallulah, she loves to sit in the window and bird watch. Niya absolutely loves people and will crawl right up into your lap and purr as soon as you let her. She's great with other cats, and gets along well with calmer dogs too. She's been through so much already in her short life, and we can't wait to see her relaxing in the forever home she deserves!
