Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. NICOLE HAUGHT and 12 other relatives of hers we're all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care. So NICOLE HAUGHT (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned them. With all the tragedy that has happened to this girl and her family, she deserves to have a wonderful home. She is now been living a nice pampered life. Let her tell you all about herself. Hello, I'm NICOLE HAUGHT. Life is a fascinating puzzle and I'm on a mission to solve it. I'm sweet and mellow, a gentle soul navigating this big world. I'm smart, figuring out treat puzzles (ok destroying them...but it's fun) faster than you can say 'catnip'. But don't let my independence fool you, I love a good cat scratch on my head. I'm playful, a feather on a string is my ultimate foe. I'm a bit shy and timid, but that's just me being brave in my own way. I'm curious, always sniffing out new adventures. NICOLE HAUGHT is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MARCH 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************ PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
