This beautiful momma cat was trapped after years of effort by a volunteer in Rosedale Park. She gave birth to 3 kittens in the trap! We placed her in her own room at the shelter with her babies and slowly this shy girl came out of her shell. Such a good momma, she took in an orphan kitten and cared for him as her own in addition to her three. Fast forward three months and all her babies were adopted. After one day alone in her room, three orphan babies were transferred to FCS from Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society. These babies had been bottle fed but were staring to eat kitten food out of a bowl. Problem was, they were a total mess, covered in food and poop. We had to bathe them when they arrived. Well, we showed Nicole one baby at a time and she immediately began to mother them!
