Nibbles came into our program in March 2024, pregnant and in need of a foster home where she could safely deliver and raise her babies. She had 5 healthy kittens in April and was an excellent mama! You may notice that the fur on her sides is thin; that's where her babies "made biscuits" while nursing; the fur should fill in again soon.
Now that the hard work of raising her babies is done, Nibbles is ready to retire and relax as the queen of her own home. Nibbles is a curious and independent kitty. She gets along with the other cats and dogs in her foster home, but she wouldn't mind being an only cat.
Nibbles can open doors, both interior and exterior; her foster mom had to change the doorknob hardware from French-style to a classic round door knob in the bathroom to prevent Nibbles from moving her babies!
