New York came from a large cat colony, and likes to be with other cats. He wasn't socialized to humans at a young age, so he is very shy and needs someone to take the time to establish trust and rapport. He will do best in a quiet home with one or two other cats to play with. Even though he is shy, he is still a youngster, and likes to play and play. He should be adopted with his brother Dakota, who is quite outgoing, and helps New York to be more confident.
