My Story
Introducing his Royal Highness - Prince Bates!
Gorgeous both in appearance and character, Bates loves to snuggle, sleep (what cat doesn’t), scratch at his post, window watch, and he especially enjoys grooming himself and/or his sister, Nessie. He is a natural-born leader with superb etiquette, and with his paws crossed in a dignified manner, he's always ready for a close-up. One has to wonder where he received all this PR training from!
Bates would do well in a moderately active home that will understand and love his gentle, quiet personality. He can be a bit shy in the beginning, but will quickly warm up to people with affection and kindness. Anyone in search of a cuddle buddy who will curl up on your chest, shower you with hugs and kisses, and overall who just loves people, will be incredibly happy to welcome this little prince into their castle!
Nessie is a good-natured, fun-loving, and very actively playful cat who loves to cuddle on human laps and enjoys pets from her people. She is very social and outgoing, making her instantly lovable to anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her! Nessie is happiest when she’s with her humans and will display her affection by performing a soft, furry rub on her human’s face. At her foster home, she regularly shows her loving, affectionate side to her brother Bates as well, during periodic moments of respite from their daily playtime and other activities together. She greatly enjoys playing and running, and has an appetite to match!
In addition to snuggling with her humans and playing with her brother, she favors scratching posts, playing with feathers, and chasing a laser pointer. As part of her playful, energetic nature, she can be very (inadvertently) funny and a bit of a “goofball” also. Her foster family shared that “sometimes she will try to jump onto a table or windowsill and just completely miss the mark. She just walks it off like nothing happened.” With this much silly nonchalance, confidence, and resilience, who wouldn’t love to welcome Nessie into their home to capture their own moments of hilarity and cute antics?
