Nessie

Meet Nessie! This stunning gal had a rough start before coming to the shelter. She and 11 other felines were dumped in a small crate in front of the shelter. Nessie was a nursing mother to nine kittens. She loves attention, but also loves to have her own space. She is so funny! She will suddenly jump up and start playing with a toy - or she'll all of a sudden get the zoomies! Nessie is named after the Loch Ness monster. Curious and loving are just some of the words that describe this fantastic feline. Nessie is an afficiando at wet food! Though this gal may not inhabit the Scottish Highlands, she is ready to inhabit your home! Nessie has won over all of our hearts, and she will win yours too.All AAF cats and dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. All cats receive a FelV/FIV combination test while dogs over the age of 8 months are tested for heartworms. All pets are also treated for both intestinal parasites and fleas. The AAF is proud of the medical attention that is given to each and every pet as their health and well-being is of the utmost importance to our organization. The adoption fees* for our pets are as follows: Kittens: $85 Cats 5 months and older: $60 Puppies: $150 Dogs 5 months and older: $135 * AAF will at times have a promotion that temporarily discounts fees. You can visit us and our pets who are available for adoption: Monday-Friday 11 AM - 7 PM Saturday 11 AM - 4 PM Sunday Noon - 4 PM Closed Holidays You can meet the cats and kittens, however we do not do same-day adoptions. An application is required and must be qualified prior to an official adoption appointment. You can see our dogs from the adoption aisle, however, prior to a personal meeting, you must submit an application and receive an adoption appointment.
