Nemo

Nemo Nemo is a special needs kitty. Bengal striped ginger boy, and he was born with a spinal malformation. It causes him to not be able to use his back legs. His legs are splayed out by his sides. He can move them and has feeling in his lower extremities. He will pick his tail up from time to time. However, he does not let that stop him one little bit. He has an extremely sweet personality and the loudest purr. He purrs the second he sees someone walk into the room. Very affectionate and loves head/neck scratches, tummy rubs, all the above. His fur is super soft. He will have a conversation with you and will let you know if dinner is late. He gets along well with others. He absolutely loves his scratching pole and has become quite the acrobat. He can scale up it and swing himself around on it. He is a comedian for sure. He does not like baths, but he has come to realize they are a necessity for him to stay clean. He will protest on the way to the tub. When he is in the water, he just enjoys himself, splashing around. He will tell you when he is ready to get out. He can wear diapers, as he can use the bathroom on his own, just cannot control when or where. Nemo is available for adoption through The Runaways Animal Rescue. Experience with special needs animals is preferred, but not required. His care really is not that complicated. He is micro chipped, neutered, fiv/felv tested, on current flea meds, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and dewormed. Adoption application is below.
