***Courtesy Post for his owner*** Everyone, meet Ned! Ned is a one and a half-year-old, black and white, domestic short hair, quirky cat! Ned has a unique story; he was injured as a kitten, likely was hit by a car. Then when he was brought to the vet, he was abandoned by his owners when they couldn't afford his medical care. After weeks of healing, Ned recovered and had the energy and personality of the sweetest yet rambunctious cat you have ever met! Ned is best suited in a home with no other animals. He tends to be aggressive to the other cat in his current home. Ned likes to be the center of attention, so he would do best as an only pet! Ned has not been around children; however he has been lovable around all adults. Ned loves to be carried and hang out on your shoulder while you do everything. If you give him a wand toy, he will be entertained for hours. He gets the zoomies and loves to play with the blinds. Ned will frequently place himself onto your chest when you're laying down and will often fall asleep in your arms. Due to his injuries as a kitten, Ned has an activity restrictions and will potentially need some procedure work in the future, including an FHO surgery if his hip mobility becomes compromised. This surgery can cost around $3000. If he remains comfortable, he may not need this surgery. And to top off Ned's medical needs, he also shows gum inflammation due to Stomatitis, so he will likely need a full mouth extraction in the near future and that is also an investment of up to $2,000. Ned also has dealt with some upper respiratory viruses in his past. He has recovered from them. He is not a risk for spreading them as the only pet in the home. Ned is a very special cat and he needs a really committed family to care for him! Ned is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, negative for FIV&FELV, and has been treated for parasites.
