My Story

Nebula is a beautiful 2 1/2-year-old cat looking for her forever family, as she has been with us for far too long. Nebula came in with her siblings as kittens a little over 2 years ago and all of her siblings have since been adopted so she is the last remaining. It has taken Nebula quite a bit of time but she has finally learned that she actually likes people! For the first year she was with us she wanted little to nothing to do with us humans, she only liked a select few cats or preferred to be on her own. We have continued to work with her and slowly but surely we won her over, and so did more cats. She can still be nervous and skittish at times, but once she really knows you and is comfortable she will seek out attention from you and really enjoys to be pet. She is an excellent explorer, and playing with toys is a top priority. She is talkative, especially during feeding time; when she is hungry, she isn't shy about letting you know! Nebula is one of the queen bees here at Scruffy Paws and that is how she would like to be in her new home. She does well with other respectful cats with proper acclimation. She isn't one to wrestle or cuddle with other feline friends, but she will share her toys, space and occasionally will engage in a game of chase. Nebula will need a home with no young children. It will take patience and understanding to help Nebula be her best cat self. Nebula is still a work in progress, but she deserves a chance and a family that will love her and helps her blossom.
