Navy & Garbanzo

Navy & Garbanzo are bonded siblings, approximately 11 months old. Navy  What a beautiful girl Navy is with her sleek, silky black coat and gentle green, intuitive eyes. Navy is the smartest and most curious of her litter, constantly watching and observing the daily routines of the house. Navy loves inventory, she would be an excellent shopper out in the human world, taking account of everything - all the food, bits and bobs around the house, baskets, cupboards, things under the fridge, what’s new and what’s old. Navy takes it all into account and tries to play with it or make it into a game. She is always ready to play with a string, a feather, a Q-tip, a sponge ball or a fluffy fake mouse – she loves to carry things around in her mouth – a bag of craft store pom poms is her idea of heaven. In addition to playing, Navy also enjoys talking (squeaking) and swirling around the legs of the dog in her foster home, time in the window, watching birds and chasing spiders. Navy is still learning to trust; when activated, she has a loud and heavy purr, she loves her head rubs with a little side of belly/armpits. She also enjoys petting while in her basket during sleep comas. She has had little exposure to children and would do better with those that are older. Navy relies on her brother Garbanzo’s cues, who is quite confident, to relate that it’s a safe time to engage in attention and petting. Although Navy presently chooses when to engage, she is not the hiding type of cat – she is always involved and around, and curious what you are up to. This makes Navy an excellent and sweet companion, supportive working from home colleague and keen chore partner.  Garbanzo Bonzo, as he's affectionately called by his foster family, is a happy go lucky guy who loves his belly rubs and returns the favor by supporting his staff with cuddles when morning alarm clocks go off. You might even get your hair groomed. He loves to play with any toys but some other favorite activities include but are not limited to:  bed time blanket zoomies, playing with Navy, sliding out and curling into small floor mats. You can find this bold tubular man partaking in cuddles on the couch or on the floor, bird watching and generalized lounging. This robust, relaxed kitten loves dogs – he takes his role of dog grooming very seriously, especially the ears, in addition to ensuring that the dog has him to sleep beside. Bonzo has a loud and purrfect purr that draws in everyone around him, along with his beautiful inquisitive eyes and handsome markings. He is a gentleman in the kitty litter department, doesn’t mind his nails trimmed and dominates on the cardboard nail scratcher. His personality is a gem that will leave an everlasting sweetness and companionship in the heart. Navy & Garbanzo have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and has received preventative flea and worm treatments. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match.
