Natty

Meet Natty! This gorgeous young lady was one of 6 kittens found outside with horrible conjunctivitis and upper respiratory infections when they were around 8 weeks old. After weeks of care Natty and her siblings fully recovered and all but her and her sister Niya were adopted to loving homes. Unfortunately before this girl could find a home of her own, both Natty and Niya became sick once again and tested positive for FIP - Feline Infectious Peritonitis. FIP is often fatal, but after spending months with a dedicated medical foster and receiving daily injections, both girls persevered and are doing better than ever. They no longer need any medications and spend their days rolling around in catnip with their feline friends. Natty gets along well with other cats and currently resides in one of our free roam rooms. It's hard to say which she loves more - catnip, or cuddles from her favorite humans! She has some residual scarring in one of her eyes from the infection she had as a kitten, and while we don't think she's visual in that eye, she doesn't let that get in her way! She loves to play and is the first to greet you as you walk in the room with the absolute sweetest little meow.
