Meet Namaste! Truly one of the world's sweetest and gentlest kitties but unfortunately also a very painfully shy kitty so shy that most visitors to the shelter will never get to experience this adorable little guy and his larger than life personality because he hides until the coast is clear. When the shelter is quite and only the volunteer's he knows are around is when he will emerge from his hiding spot. During that time he will approach us for chin and head scratches, he'll play with the other kitties, he loves to investigate the sink when the tap is running. It will definitely take someone who is patient and willing to put in the time to earn Namaste's trust. He would also do best in a quite household, perhaps with other cats because he's been with us since he was a kitten, he's used to having other cats around. He's truly special and filled with so much love to give, it will just take the right person to make him feel comfortable so that he can be himself.
