NALA is a wonderful, loving, playful gal! She loves clowning around, especially with other kitties. She loves to be petted and purrs a lot. She is almost 5 years old and an amazing, loving cat. She is smart, silly, and talkative!
NALA is incredible! You will adore her...she loves people and attention. She will reach out and tap you to get you attention, roll over and show her belly for rubbing, purr constantly, and trill or chat with you when you look at her!!! She is very easy-going.
NALA is well-adjusted, social, loving, and has great litter box habits!
NALA will make an incredible lap cat! She is intelligent, bold, and quick to learn. She will quickly adjust to your cats, and even your dogs.
NALA and her companion (possibly brother), THEO, were in a very bad situation. They were living in Waterbury in a low-income situation, without regular vet care. They both got very sick and their previous owner reached out to rescues to help cover the cost of vet care. He offered to pay half, which he never did. It was discovered that they weren't spayed or neutered and that NALA had a litter of babies that did not survive, because of the illness. We saved them from that situation, got them well, had them altered, and now want them to find loving, permanent families for them. It's very tough for us, as we have gotten very attached to them, and even paid their previous owner to keep them, as he was unwilling to give them up, despite not being able to care for them properly!
There will be a lot of demand for NALA. She will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. She will need to be picked up this coming week! IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!
Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.
All of our cats and kittens are rescues, either from shelters or surrendered to us by their owners.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.
We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.
Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.

DO NOT CALL OR TEXT FOR APPLICATIONS!
We DO NOT have "meet and greet" visitations. All adoption appointments are made after we have approved your application.
