This pretty McTabby girl arrived in May 2021 with 8 newborn kittens at her side. Although she knew we were trying to help, Mama Nadya wanted nothing to do with us scary humans and she spent the next 18 months watching staff, volunteers, and other kitties from her kennel at the shelter. Since landing in an awesome foster home with her bestie Bonsai, Nadya has come out of her shell and can be found enjoying the life of an indoor pampered meow meow! She enjoys watching birds and bunnies from the window perch, chasing after the wand toy, and snuggling with you on your lap (if her buddy Bonsai is not available). Nadya and Bonsai are looking for a home together where they will be allowed to be cats and get comfortable at their own pace. There will be hiding at first.... almost certainly by Nadya...but as we saw with her foster home, time, patience, and plenty of yummy treats lay the groundwork for her to know she is safe and loved.
