Nadine

Looking at Nadine today, you can hardly believe that she was found living outside, severely dehydrated and malnourished, and had long fur that was so matted she had trouble walking. Today she has put that past behind her and loving her new life! Despite her age, she is in very good health and still shows every day that there’s a lot of kitten in her. She does enjoy a daily “rhythm”, starting off with waking up you up at sunrise, some playtime, and a little breakfast. After a long nap in the afternoon she will patrol the house for a while before getting a little more play, then settling in for some cuddling on the couch with you, and afterwards go to bed. Quite often she will get the kitten crazies and go play with her favorite catnip toy very early in the morning, around 3am. Nadine is a very sweet, smart girl who absolutely cannot get enough of the head rubs and ear and chin scratches. She is also a talker: If she wants breakfast or it’s time for bed, she is not shy about telling you. And, on warm sunny days Nadine likes to go outside on the harness to smell the fresh air and get a grass snack! She would do best in a quiet home with no small children. With proper introductions she would probably get along with another cat, although that has not been tested yet. She does love being the center of attention. Nadine is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive) but with the right care and love, Nadine can lead a happy, healthy life for years to come. Nadine is a senior female, Calico/Domestic Long Hair cat. Her estimated date of birth is April 15, 2007. She has a $60.00 adoption fee.
