Birthday: October 11, 2018 Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Nacho has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts him. We all enjoy a little bit of comfort food now and then, but how about some Nacho? You can have him as much as you want (and not gain a single pound)! That's right! This plump love-chunk is a hunk - a big boy with a big heart! He's the definition of a gentle giant! He tries his darndest to be as soft and careful as he possibly can as if they were a newborn baby! How did such a handsome gentleman find his way to our rescue? Well, Nacho was actually brought into LCCR twice. He was originally brought to us from another foster, and we placed him up for adoption. He was originally adopted by a family, and everyone thought he found his happy ending. However, the owner found themselves unable to care for him. So, Nacho was returned to our rescue. It has taken Nacho a long time to get accustomed to his new surroundings. If a stranger so much as walked towards him or come above, he'd tear off into another room to hide! All of the ordeals he had to go through left him with high anxiety. He developed crystals in his bladder from the stress, but after his diet changed, he doesn't seem to have an issue anymore! While Nacho is still a shy and anxious guy, we can't tell you how much of a lovebug he is once he opens up to you. It might take awhile for him to get used to his new home, but once he does, it's like you adopted a completely different cat! He enjoys whenever you talk to him about your day and sneaking away to go on adventures to find new hideaways to take naps! When it comes to affection, he can't get enough! Chin rubs are the bees knees! He'll give you little head boops whenever he feels like "giving you a hug." Whenever there isn't a human to love in the room, he'll play quietly with his catnip-filled mice toys! His foster has mentioned how it was hard for them to get pictures of Nacho because he's wanting them to pet him! While this silly boy is an absolute dreamboat, he would like a quiet home. He doesn't mind older children or other cats. He even tolerates his foster's puppy dog! Nacho's adoption donation is $75 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
