Mysterio came to ACCT as a stray when a member of the public suspected he had a broken leg, but after taking x-rays, we found that Mysterio's hip is dislocated. He will require an FHO (femoral head osteotomy) surgery, which can be done via foster through ACCT, or with the help of a rescue partner. Mysterio is a very handsome guy, but because of his injury, he's looking pretty rough: staff noted severe matting, and a dirty coat, in addition to ear mites and fleas. We would love to see Mysterio get the surgery he needs to recover. He would likely need some crate rest as well, but he gave our medical staff no issues with handling for his exam or x-rays. Mysterio is resting comfortably on pain medication, but the surgery he needs is beyond what ACCT can provide.
