Hi there! I'm Murphie, a curious and adventurous young girl who is still learning the ropes of indoor living. While I'm making great progress, I'm still looking for a patient and understanding pet parent(s) to help me feel completely comfortable slowly. I do like people but for now mostly at a distance. I enjoy being around them, especially when food is involved - I'm always first in line! However, I do need some time and gentle patience to fully trust. I am a little bit leery of human contact so I need to take it slow and just allow me to trust from a distance to start. I love food and treats and will lick food right off your finger. I get along well with other nice kitties, so a home with a quiet and patient environment is what is best for me and I need another kitty companion to help me to show me the ropes. I'm a sweet and gentle soul who loves playing with string toys, and chasing laser lights when I’m happy. I likely will never be a confident lap cat, but I have the potential to blossom in the right environment. If you sit on the floor with me and have a lick treat, I WILL stand on your lap for that!
