Ms Stanley

We are desperately seeking a home for Ms. Stanley (we are also willing to have her as a forever foster, in the right home) Ms. Stanley has come a very long way since we got her at the end of 2022. She is now very active and has learned to trust Mr. Binky enough that she will approach him for ear scritches and will eat in his presence. She loves having places to hide, beds to sleep in, and a tree to climb (she has a bed and a tree that would come with her). She does seem to have some interest in toys, but does not really play with them in the presence of people. Yet. She is a very vocal girl and talks a lot on her own and also in the presence of people. Ms. Stanley has had extensive dental work, and so she has only three teeth remaining. For this reason she needs to be on wet food, but she is not a picky eater. She gets a couple of medications that she will likely need to be on for the rest of her life, but they can be mixed into her food and they are also not expensive. She is also FIV+. FIV is a virus specific to the cat family. It is similar to HIV in humans, in that it attacks and weakens the immune system, and there is no cure. Due to this, Ms. Stanley must go to a home with no other cats, OR other FIV positive cats. Any adopter of Ms. Stanley is going to need to have patience. She is extremely timid with new people and you'll have to earn her trust, but she has shown that she is willing to give that trust to someone who will put in the time, and she's quite affectionate once she has gained that trust. We are looking for an experienced home for her. She will come with all of her favorite things listed above, as well as a month worth of medication and food.
