My Story

Magoo is absolutely the sweetest gal. She's a senior and needs some special tlc. She cannot see and is completely blind. She can hear but not well. She does surprisingly quite well at home, she uses her hearing and sense of smell to navigate around. Her foster leaves her in a small area and she likes to walk around and is very curious of her surroundings. She is older and she needs to be on a special diet for early stages kidney disease. She is not currently on any medications. Otherwise she is healthy and is looking for a home that understands her needs. She is talkative and purrs and loves to get attention. She does not scratch at all and does not jump on anything, as her blindness keeps her firmly on the ground. She will sit or sleep with her human if allowed, but be mindful she cannot get back down safely. Ms Magoo is ready for that special home for her special needs, do you have room in your home for the time she has left? Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. To fill out an application online or to find out more information about our adoption process, go to www.friscohumanesociety.com & click on the "Adoption" link.
