Ms. Charlie was once part of a family but after she scratched one of the children in the family, she was put outside and then left behind when the people moved. A kind neighbor was feeding Ms. Charlie and was concerned because she had a tumor on her ear and had lost a lot of weight. After she came to Laps and Naps, the tumor was removed and she is on medication for hyperthyroidism. She is easy to medicate as she eats the pill crushed in her food.
Ms. Charlie is estimated to be 10-years-old. She is friendly and loving, but needs a person who respects her boundaries. She doesn't like having her feet touched, or her back stroked, but loves head rubs and scratches!
