I was just a stray kitten when I was first brought to the HSHC. The good news is I was adopted right away. The bad news is, after nine years, I was surrendered back to the shelter. I loved my family; however, the kids worried me a lot. As I have grown older, my tolerance for stress, loud comings, goings, and routine change has significantly declined. I hate to use the words "litterbox issue," but add to my anxiety level that I have had very painful declawing surgery on my front paws, and you have a justifiable reason. Look at my feet, and you will see they are a hot mess. My declawing left behind bone fragments that had to be removed in a second surgery. OW-EEE! When the interviewer lady visited me, I was so happy to see her that I rubbed against her, flipping my tail, purring, and giving her nose kisses. She said I was a "perky" young fellow, which is flattering since I am 12-years-old. I would love to be adopted by a loving person or couple with a calm home life and less foot traffic than my last home. I have a lot of living to do and can't wait to do it with YOU! 7-9-24
