My Story

Let me just take a minute to tell you about Luba. He was rescued from a ditch on a busy road. Goodrich by Rental shop. He was curled up in a ball wet and on the side of the road. I think he had given up. He was only about 6-7 weeks old and alone and shaking in fear. A family saw him and picked him up and called me, and I had the room to take him. Josh and I were at breakfast at Buttered Buns. We headed right there to scoop him up. When I got him, he was so tiny and just shaking and wet. He had this tiny tiny body with this huge head and big facial features. He looked at me with those big eyes, and I told my husband his name was going to be Mr Luba Luba (yeah). He had something wrong with his tail. I wondered if maybe it was run over. It never improved, so he had to have surgery to remove it. Luba is a gentleman. He is gentle and quiet and loyal and loving. His trauma from before keeps him on guard, but when I lay down in my bed, he feels safe, and he lets his guard down and melts in my arms. He loves to be pet and when you stop he looks at you to remind you to keep petting. He is very special, and I pray someone will see his Tabby Charm and adopt him. He has roommates if interested in a pair. Kool-aid, Jello, chicken wing , Taffy and Takis.
