Mr. Boombastic

BOOMBASTIC, here to take all of your worries away. Yep, it's Monday, I totally get it, and I'm here for you. Monday is just another day for me, and if you take me into your home,If you take me into your home, I'll show you my chill ways and easy-going nature. You won't even care what day it is, because I'll be there every morning right with you, and every night when you go to sleep. There was a time that I didn't know I would ever feel this way again. I was in a shelter in Florida with my lady love, Sassy. We rode out the storm together, and we made it through. She is here at the shelter with me, and she's kind of acting like she's moved on from me. I mean, I have this cool new name and vibe, and she's all like flirting with the other cats and stuff. Yesterday, she was canoodling with Magic Mike and Mr. Exotic - I have eyes everywhere! So fine, I'll move on too...or at least she's going to think I have anyway. Right now there is all this talk and hoopla about Mr. Exotic. People are coming in just to meet him, and the buzz around the shelter is that he's becoming a True Crew favorite. I'm not one to be jealous, but let me just throw my mouse toy into the ring here. He is just a player, 100%! I've heard him meow the same love tones to several different ladies now...also to my Sassy! Well, I've got news for him - I'm all of that and a bag of catnip! I don't need fancy markings and extra-wide jowls to get me some attention. I sit atop my cat tower and I DEMAND attention, just with my eyes alone. That is a trait that not many have, but long for. I'm also the same age as him, right at 3 years old, but I'm WAY more mature. He is silver spoon fed, while I've had to work hard for everything I have...which is really not much, and basically I get stuff handed to me too. But I digress... So what was I saying about a Monday? Oh, that's right, just another day. Another day I'll have to watch Mr. Exotic get all of the attention until you get me OUT OF HERE! He's stealing my Sassy, people! Help!
