My Story

Meet Morrigan, Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Our next 3 kittens (Morrigan, Amren & Azriel) are very lucky. They were found when police raided a home and arrested the owners for drugs, we think. Instead of taking these 3 little kittens to the shelter, they took them to our local veterinarian. They spayed & neutered them and ask if we would take them. They have been in a foster home now for a few weeks and every day seem to feel more relaxed, but they need work. We are confident with time, they will be great house cats. We've reduced their adoption fee greatly because we understand it will take time for them to settle in. If you are "cat savvy" you should be able to work with these black beauties. Morrigan slept with her foster the other night, they are making progress, but please understand they will need work. Time, patience and love will make all the difference. The kittens are about 12 weeks old. They are healthy, spayed/neutered, fiv/felv negative, have had vaccines and been on preventions. We only adopt kittens in pairs unless there is another young friendly cat in the home for the new kitten to play with. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. We have several kittens her age we can pair her up with. There is a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. [email protected] COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding.
