Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. This handsome fellow is Morpheus - he is big, plushy boy with plump cheeks and a gorgeous black coat. Morpheus was luckily brought indoors from life as a stray right before the weather turned brutally cold and a big snowstorm came. He had a wound of his neck, which proved how difficult life outdoors had been on this boy. Morpheus received some TLC and is now ready to find a loving home where he never has to worry about fending for himself outdoors again. Morpheus is sweet and gentle - he was nervous at our busy rescue and spent the day watching all the activity around him. We placed him in a foster home, and although still shy, he loves attention and will sit all day for pets. It would be easy to fall in love with this gentle giant. He needs an adopter that will be patient with him because he is still learning to trust human love. Morpheus is FIV positive - he would need to be the only cat in a home, live with other FIV cats, or possibly live with other non-aggressive cats. In his FIV playgroup, he mostly kept to himself and was not bothered by any of the other cats. All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines.
