Moonie

Moonie and his four siblings came from an apartment complex in Urbana. A TNR group was working on getting all the stray cats at this complex spayed and neutered. They were not able to trap this one female cat, and then she showed up with five kittens. Momma was unfortunately hit by a car and killed, so one of the TNR ladies took in the kittens and fostered them until we had space at Paws Animal Shelter to bring them in. Her foster mom describes Cosmo as follows: "Moonie is very loving. He loves to be petted and held. Mooney is inquisitive and playful and loves toys. Moonie is the thoughtful kitten of the litter. He's always the last to join the fun." Moonie and his siblings are all in one of our kitten rooms now, running around, playing with all their toys, wrestling with one another, and bird watching (there's a bird feeder right outside their window, and they're absolutely mesmerized by the birds!).
