Meet Monty! Monty is a very special little guy. He was found outside after a Good Samaritan saw him laying on the side walk from heat exhaustion. She scooped him up and brought him to us. We took him to our vet and got him all fixed up and now he's doing fabulous! You may notice that his right eye is a little cloudy. This is a corneal abrasion - likely do from an infection or injury in from when he was much younger. Our vet determined that it causes him no pain and he will not require surgery for it. It clouds his vision slightly, but nothing that will affect his mobility or overall life. Monty is very affectionate and loves to be around people. You can tell he is very grateful to have been saved! He was a big hit at the vet because of how cuddly he is. Monty will be ready to meet August 1st and can go home at the end of August.
