MONKEY

MONKEY is a stunning girl!! She is a Bengal mix with beautiful mackerel markings. She is very sweet and loving, and enjoys attention and petting. She is also gentle and playful! She's a great fit for your family, don't you think? She would love to have kids with whom she can play! She is very curious and smart. MONKEY loves people and attention! She purrs contentedly when held and seeks out her people. She also loves to play with other cats and kittens. She is also very dog-like! MONKEY is very social and loves people and animals of all ages. She's had free roam of the house of one of our foster families. This is from the foster: "Monkey is a gentle, lovable, playful girl. She chirps for attention and knows her name, and so she will come running anytime you call her! She has a thing for carrying random odd objects, whether your keys or a giant teddy bear. Monkey is a bit of a night owl, so we often put her in her room when we went to sleep for the night; otherwise, she would roam the house, loudly looking for a party. She will tolerate being held but really doesn’t love it; however, she loves full body rub downs including her tummy. Monkey is great with kids and other animals. When the kids were too much, she politely excused herself without the use of violence. We have a bearded dragon, and they became friends, often sitting in the window together. Monkey loves playtime and will be a great addition to your family!" MONKEY and her son, NOODLE, are a bonded pair and SHOULD BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. They are both amazingly sweet and love being around each other. They are amazing, loving cats and a family will be very lucky to have them as additions. There will be a lot of demand for MONKEY and NOODLE. She will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. She will need to be picked up this week! We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive. All of our cats and kittens come to us as part of our southern rescue program - saving lives from high kill southern shelters. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention. We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders. Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
