Sweet chatterbox. Mochi is a queen at the shelter! This sweet girl arrived back in November 2023 as part of an abuse case sadly. Mochi was abandoned- left without food or water until she received help by one of our Animal Control Officers. Mochi is a gem and a staff favorite! Please fill out an adoption application at www.cedar-rapids.org/animal. Once the application is approved, you will be able to meet with the cat you want to see. In order to be approved all animals in the home must be sterilized and current on a rabies vaccination. Every year millions of unwanted kittens are born! It might seem that adopting one cat won't make much of a difference, but to this one kitty it would make the DIFFERENCE OF A LIFETIME! It is our goal to help reduce the number of unwanted, homeless pets in our community, all dogs and cats adopted from the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control shelter are sterilized prior to leaving our facility thanks to a grant from PetSmart Charities®.
