Mochi

Say hello to Mr. Mochi! Mochi is a color point tabby who came to TCR when he was rescued from a tree. He's a goofy floof whose chatty and social nature will win over anyone. This boy likes to be included and will let you know if he is feeling left out. He might tell you all about it as he wanders the house looking for the action. He might turn on the purr motor and plop in your lap while you're working for some well-deserved pets. Or, he might attack your toes while you are chilling on the couch or making dinner (his foster family is working on bite control, and he is making progress)! He may only have one good eye, but that never slows him down! Just be careful not to sneak up on him from the right side or he might spook a bit. Mochi is very good with other kittens (especially his foster-friend, Luna!) and warms up to new people quickly. He might do well with dogs, with proper introdutions, and with respectful kiddos, too! He has plenty of kitten energy and it would be good for him to have a kitty playmate in his new home. After a round of zoomies and play, though, this boy likes nothing better than a nap in one of his favorite spots (some of which happen to be on top of his humans!). One of his favorite snuggle routines is being scooped up and held like a baby and given lots of belly rubs while he purrs and purrs. Mochi is about three and a half months old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. He has a congenital deformity of his right eye, but no further treatment is necessary at this time.
