MISTY

Misty is a beautiful cat, approximately 4 years old. She was rescued as a stray. Misty would love a quiet home where she can be the one who instigates any affection. When she wants to be petted, she is very loving and sweet. When she doesn't, she makes that clear with a swat, so Misty will do best with humans who respect her boundaries. No children for Misty. Although Misty lives in shared space at the shelter, she briefly lived in a home with another cat and did not do well with that cat, so a home where she's the only pet will be best for Misty. She has a lot of stipulations, we realize, but she would love a new home where she can relax and feel loved, and we are hopeful that that home is out there waiting! Misty has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, has been spayed, and is current on vaccinations/flea preventive. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet food. Adoption donation: $40. When adopting a cat, please bring a carrier with you to transport the cat — they can be pretty scared in transition.
