Missy

Say hello to Missy, a wonderful older female (roughly 10 years old) who will charm you with her big purr and sweet nature. Missy is quick to seek out head scratches and provides nuzzles and head butts in return. She likes to chat with her slightly croaky meows, enjoys sitting up high and surveying what’s happening around her, and is happy to bat around a string toy. Missy’s long-time owner passed away, leaving her and Camille without a home. Despite that sad situation, she is trusting and friendly and has won the hearts of her foster care givers. We believe Missy is up-to-date on all vet needs and in good health. She would be fine as an only cat or could be comfortable with another adult cat in her new home. All of our cats/kitten will be spayed/neutered, received age appropriate vaccines, FeLV tested, deflead, and dewormed PRIOR to adoption. She goes out every morning at 4am, 365 days a year in rain, snow & sleet in the Beechwood section of Rochester, NY to provide shelters and feed at 18 different locations, totaling nearly 100 cats. Plus, she TNR's (traps, neuters & returns) many of them to prevent overpopulation -- some of those cats that she traps, she tries to foster and get them adopted into forever homes and off the streets.
